5844 PIECES FINISHED!!


I finally finished quilting my scrappy Ocean Wave quilt. I had tons of half-squares left over from various projects and thought I had plenty to finish this quilt. After laying them out I had mostly red and greens so had to cut more in other colors now I still have a box of half square triangles. I have had this thimble since the early 80's and can't for the life of me use any other. It is unusual in that it worn on the left hand underneath the quilt and stops the needle as you load the stitches It is the only one that I have and I am scared to death that it will break. I am hoping that one of the Quiltville followers will have seen this thimble and let me know where to find a new one.
